Superior electrical performance, high mechanical strength, the internal load of epoxy glass fiber drawing rod bending strength is 2 times higher than ordinary steel, is high strength porcelain material 8-10 times, effectively improve the reliability of safe operation. 

The wet withstand voltage and pollution withstand voltage are 2-2.5 times that of the porcelain insulator with the same climbing distance, and do not need cleaning, and can operate safely in heavy pollution areas. 

Small size, light weight (only 1/6-1/9 of the porcelain insulator of the same voltage grade), light structure, easy to transport and install. 

Silicone rubber umbrella skirt has good water-increasing performance, and its overall structure ensures that the inner insulation is not damp, no preventive insulation monitoring test is required, no cleaning is required, and daily maintenance workload is reduced. 

Good sealing performance, strong resistance to electric corrosion, the umbrella skirt material leakage traces up to TMA4.5 level, has good aging resistance, corrosion resistance, low temperature resistance, can be applied to -40℃-+50℃ area. 

It has strong impact resistance and shock resistance, good brittleness and creep resistance, not easy to break, bending resistance, high torsional strength, can withstand internal pressure, explosion-proof strength, and can be used interchangeability with porcelain and glass insulators. 

According to the principle of aerodynamics, the size design of the umbrella structure is optimized, the pressure balancing ring is reasonably configured, the leakage current is suppressed, the silicon rubber umbrella skirt is protected from arc erosion, and the service life of the composite insulator is improved.
